Unfolding the mysteries behind Fairmont Austin’s tested-and-approved eats.

Fairmont Austin’s culinary team is cracking down in the kitchen, working hard to perfect the dishes hitting the tables of 101 Red River Street later this fall.

So why “Food Lab”? Because creating a flawless dish is a science. Like any scientific approach, culinary menu direction is no different; you test, trial, analyze, taste (ok, perhaps tasting doesn’t happen in every scientific approach), and critique until the final outcome is near perfection. This is why our culinary engineers are experimenting with and executing techniques to develop textures, flavors and consistencies that are unparalleled.
