Spicy Ahi Tacos

Ingredients

Yield:

6 tacos

• • 6 each won ton wrappers
  • 12 each shisho leaves
  • 1/2 lb sashimi grade ahi tuna, minced
  • 2 tbsp green onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp shichimi red pepper
  • 2 cups salad oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 4 tbsp mayonaisse
  • 2 tsp siracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp red tobiko fish eggs
  • 2 oz kaiware sprouts

1. 1. Mix the ahi, green onion, shichimi, sesame oil and salt in a bowl
   2. Cover and set in refrigerator to chill
   3. Mix mayonaisse and siracha until smooth
   4. Cover and chill
   5. Heat salad oil to 350 degrees
   6. Fry won ton wrappers one by one using tongs to create an open pocket
   7. Drain won ton tacos on paper towels
   8. Place 2 shisho leaves in each taco shell, divide spicy ahi evenly
   9. Garnish with siracha mayo, tobiko and kaiware
