Peace and Tranquility in Jasper, AB

Every long weekend in May, we would road trip through the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and stay at Fairmonts along the way. This particular photo was taken at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. This is our favourite Fairmont because they have cabins and there is often elk wandering through the hotel grounds. This photo was taken just before noon and is a favourite of mine, with the reflections off the lake right in front of our cabin. We have spent our last 3 long weekends here and I take this exact photo every time because I love how calm and peaceful the lake is an what an amazing backdrop it is.
