Le Chateau Frontenac from the Lower Town

We love visiting Quebec City.  It has lots of history, great parks, and is a fantastic tourist destination.  This year we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Quebec City, and to make it even more special we decided to stay at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac.  The Chateau is the most recognized landmark in Quebec City, from all points of view.  This photo gives you an idea of how magnificent it really is.  We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Le Cafe de la Terrasse at a window table.  We had a great view of all the people strolling by on the boardwalk and also the fireworks across the river.  Definitely worth repeating!
