It only took 41 years

When I was a high school senior in 1968 we took a class trip to Quebec City and stayed at the Chateau Frontenac. I fell in love with the hotel and have such fond memories of exploring the Petit Champlain and endless turns on the toboggan run on the Promenade. I  vowed to come back one day soon. After having wonderful stays at the Fairmont Hotels in San Francisco and Washington D.C. this year, we decided to go to the Chateau Frontenac for our annversary in November. It was better than I remembered. The hotel was beuatifully decorated for the holidays and the staff made us feel like we were home again. My only regret was that there was no snow yet so we couldn't try out the toboggan run. But, we'll be back again. It was truly a memorable stay!
