At the of 43 I moved to Canda from Scotland in 1992 for a marriage that was a mistake.  On the verge of returning back home at the age of 49 found myself talking with a male co-worker who was as jaded by relationships as I was. Friends became a relationship which became a marriage.  My husband has had 3 heart attacks, bladder cancer and Lymphoma - his positive energy and outlook on life along with our love has brought him through this to a point where he is in remission, had a double bypass and is still the same happy guy with his way out sense of humour.  We spend time in Ottawa every year and always wish we stayed at the Chateau Laurier and were unable to celebrate our anniversary in Niagara in September 2011 which is where we married due to my husband having another heart attack - but he pulled through and once again back on track.  We love Titanic - saw it so many times.
