Favorite Seat in the Whole Wide World

Although the summer was filled with a mixture of outdoor activities, travel, and work, the absolute best day was spent at the Banff Springs Willow Stream Spa... No matter where I have traveled throughout the world my favorite spot is sitting in the comfy oversized chair of the lounge of the Willow Stream Spa overlooking the magnificent Rocky Mountains with a good book and warm tea in hand.

Balance is instantly restored and my mind, body and soul are rejuvenated. This past year we have had the privilege to travel from Europe to the Caribbean, to New York, and in a couple of weeks to Hawaii...but... Nothing compares to the 4 hour drive it took to spend a weekend at our favorite "Castle in the Mountains".  Mornings are spent with a 10KM run along the river where we get to see some of the most beautiful scenery and wildlife known to man, followed by breakfast with an absolute breathtaking view and then we indulge by entering into a world class spa where we spend the remainder of our day and evening. 

Every time we drive up the hill and see that majestic castle standing tall, all seems right with the world!
