I have a 'no regrets' shopping policy: if I cant decide between two items - I take both. This is how I came to spend 4 nights at the Fairmont Southampton followed by 4 nights at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
I had the most blissful and refreshing Christmas in Bermuda this past year. I enjoy travelling alone; it gives me the freedom to explore a destination at my leisure. Of course I am friendly and outgoing, and this has led to my meeting other interesting travellers, many of whom I have kept in touch with over the years and distance.
The staff at both the Southampton and the Hamilton Princess went out of their way to make sure I was entertained and made to feel like a special guest. I am sure I have never had so many complimentary drinks and desserts!
The Botanical Gardens were enchanting, even in winter. The beaches were a delight and Bermuda was by far the most friendly and welcoming destination I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.
