2014 Trilogy's Blue 'aina Coral Reef Cleanup

What a wonderful earth day celebration! For the 2nd year and in honor of earth day, volunteers from The Fairmont Kea Lani joined 50 community members and representatives from Hawaiian Islands Land Trust to clean up a reef off the pali last Sunday with Trilogy's Bue 'aina Reef Cleanup program. They found a surprising amount of rubbish on the ocean floor - everything from fishing line/ hooks to an old towel. The hotel also presented Hawaiian Islands Land Trust with a $1,000 donation from the hotel in support of their continuous efforts to preserve and protect cultural and ecologically significant lands in Hawaii.
