The Today Show's weather man, Steve Jacobs never dreamt of meeting two "reindeers" when he flew in from Down Under to stay at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The hotel's two Canine Ambassadors, Mavis and Beau stole the show when the charismatic Aussie had them taste test and judge the best reindeer cookies.
Executive Sous Chef, Geoff Carkner created the indigenous cookies representing Canada and Australia. Vegemite was definitely not a favourite for Mavis!
