A getaway not to be forgotten
I will never forget looking out our hotel room window for the first time. Welcoming my fiance and I, a friendly and knowledgeable member of the Fairmont Gold Team handed us the pair of binoculars that were situated on the windowsill and gave us a brief introductory of our view. Based on the intent of our stay, which was to get outdoors and explore the breathtaking Canadian Rockies, she continued to educate us on a few self-guided hiking tours we would surely be interested in.
In addition to the natural beauty of the Banff area, the five-star experience we enjoyed with Fairmont Banff Springs was second to none we had ever encountered. Being completely on-board 'Team Fairmont', we decided to continue the Fairmont Gold experience at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for the second half of our journey.
