A new partnership with the Ottawa Mission and Fairmont Château Laurier is making a mark in Ottawa. The Green Team's "Mission" was simple, reduce waste and help the less fortunate. Just like the Second Harvest program at the Fairmont Royal York and the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, this partnership allows for unused food to be donated to a local homeless shelter in the community. This endeavour not only helps people in need, but it also helps reduce waste and composting costs for the hotel. Truly a win-win program!
