Lake Louise, Alberta (2)

It was the trip of a lifetime. I had travelled around the world, but had never seen much of my own country of Canada. It was May 15th, 2011 and I had just received my acceptance to medical school at the University of Ottawa! I immediately called my friend Danielle (in the photo) and before we knew it, we were travelling throughout Canada's west coast. We were lucky enough to see Lake Louise as we originally didn't have enough time when first making our itinerary. I really fell in love with nature while in Alberta and BC and seeing the crystal blue waters of this wondrous lake made me realize just how many different beautiful facets my country has. It was one of those moments where I truly felt Canadian.
