Surprise Engagement

It was orchestrated perfectly - I was lured to the Banff Springs Hotel to have tea in the same tea room where my husband (then boyfriend) and his grandmother used to go when he was a child. Once there, the staff and my now husband worked perfectly together to deliver a surprise proposal. My husband even had a camera in one of our server's hands ready to take the pictures. I was obviously surprised and I obviously said yes! It was a perfect moment in our life history together and one where the Fairmont played a very big role (The Fairmont Royal York would then be the background for our wedding night). Needless to say we became Fairmont loyalists after such a great experience in Banff and are more in love than ever before.
