Engaged in Bermuda and in love with Fairmont Southhampton

In September 2009 I surprised my girlfriend with a trip to the Fairmont Southhampton in Bermuda.  She had no idea we were going on a trip until we pulled up to the airport!  I had a bag packed for her, and were soon checking into the plush Fairmont Southhampton.  She was still in a state of shock when I proposed to her hours later.  She said yes!  This photo was taken just a minute after I popped the question, on the patio outside the restaurant above the hotel’s private beach paradise.  We spent the weekend relaxing on the beach and enjoying the wonderful hotel. Fairmont will hold a special place in our hearts as the place where we decided to spend the rest of our lives together.  What a wonderful place to experience one of the most important moments in our lives!
