Vancouver is a cyclist's dream! The complimentary bikes available at Fairmont Waterfront are an ideal way to explore nearby Stanley Park (named ‘top park in the entire world’ by TripAdvisor in 2014) or for a more ambitious cycle take the magnificent 22km bike trail that starts just across the street from the hotel and follows the Seawall around the park.

With so many great places to visit - we had a tough time narrowing our list to only 10, but here they are:

VANCOUVER CONVENTION CENTRE
You have to start somewhere. Just steps outside the hotel, is the hub of the city’s conference space. Take a moment to admire the newly built Vancouver Convention Centre and then off to our urban adventure. Don’t forget to stretch!

SEAWALL
Hitting the Wall. Vancouver’s celebrated Seawall is 22 km of scenic sensory overload. Whether walking, jogging, cycling or skating, this popular pathway encircles Vancouver's waterfront. Be aware –seawall cycling is one direction only!

SEAPLANE
Take ‘Sea to Sky’ literally. Stop by the Harbour Air Centre and watch the seaplanes come in for landing, or schedule a flight to Victoria to continue your adventure.

FALSE CREEK
Converse with the locals in False Creek. Vancouver is filled with amazing public art installations; be sure to keep your eyes open for hidden treasures.

STANLEY PARK
Go Native in Stanley Park. Transport yourself to this evergreen oasis of over 1,000 acres of rich foliage, gardens, totem poles and natural history.

PATIO
Cool off and grab a bite to eat on one of Vancouver’s many patios. Choose wisely; look for the perfect balance of sun and scenery. Grab a pint of one the many local microbrewery beers on offer and treat yourself to West Coast cuisine.

HARBOURVIEW
You’ve come a long way Baby! Take a break and look back at where you’ve come from; a great opportunity to see the hotel and the city skyline from a different perspective.

GASTOWN
Getting all steamed up. Any trip to Vancouver would not be complete without a visit to Gastown and its historic steam clock. Be sure to pass by on the quarter hour to hear the whistle chime!

SUN YET SEN GARDEN
Get in touch with your inner Zen in Dr. Sun Yet Sen Classic Chinese Garden. Relax and take in the beauty of this tranquil urban oasis. This hidden gem provides a unique cultural experience and a look into another world.

CHINATOWN
Last stop - Chinatown. Pick up some exotic treats and herbal remedies to soothe sore muscles after long day of biking.
