Summer Escape
My husband and I wanted to get away with our daughter - somewhere close to home, easy to get to, luxurious and baby-friendly all at the same time. Seemed like a long-shot, but we made a last-minute reservation at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler (as in, for that very night), packed up the car and drove from Vancouver up to Whistler. When we arrived, we received a room upgrade with a beautiful view of the upper village, the pool and the mountainside. Not only that, there was a crib for the baby already waiting in our room, complete with a package of baby bath products and a little stuffed animal! We spent the next two days enjoying Whistler village, using the pool/hottub, eating in the cafe, wandering the lobby, and loving every moment of staying at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Thanks for making our last-minute getaway not only possible, but enjoyable and memorable, even with a baby in tow!
