Nestled quietly on the spectacular slopes of Whistler Mountain is a well kept secret.  There's another discerning Fairmont property, a private residence club environmentally named "At Nature's Door".  The smell and sound of your wood burning fireplace greet you as you enter this magnificent Pacific Northwest retreat.  A sigh escaped as I took in the luxurious warmth of the natural stone and hardwood.   

The sun was tucking itself in behind the mountains.  Beyond our balcony lay a little pond that transforms into a skating rink for the children in winter.  I peered into the reflection in astonishment, grabbed my camera, then raced against the setting sun.
