Our visit to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler was our first, but definitely not our last! Before we arrived, I e-mailed the concierge asking if they can do anything to make our visit memorable. It was our 7 year anniversary and when we checked in, we were given friendly and prompt service. First, We received a complimentary upgrade to a slope side room facing Blackcomb Mountain! 30 minutes after we checked in we received a random knock at our door. Room service was there and they gave us four free chocolate covered strawberries and a card from the General Manager wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We deeply appreciated the thought and consideration they gave us to make our Anniversary memorable. The hotel was beautiful and in a great location, and we were always given great customer service by all the staff. After our visit we told all of our family and friends about our experience at the Fairmont and now it has become our hotel chain of choice.
