I Left My Heart in San Francisco

My husband and I are both rare San Francisco natives and met in the city's beautiful Nob Hill neighborhood, just blocks from The Fairmont Hotel. When my husband proposed we knew that we wanted to get married at an iconic San Francisco landmark. We immediately knew that the Fairmont was the greatest way to celebrate the start of the rest of our lives together and to show off the greatest city in the world to our family and friends. Our reception was held in the Venetian Room where Tony Bennett first sang "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" almost 50 years before. We danced that night to that very song after announcing its relevance to our guests. This picture was taken on the exquisite steps just outside the Gold Room as we stole a kiss between the ceremony and reception. We celebrated our first anniversary last summer sipping champagne and enjoying the top of our wedding cake at The Fairmont and plan to go back every year to celebrate the same way.
