High tea in Victoria

I have always wanted to partake in the ritual of afternoon tea but having celiac disease prevented me from doing so. I was overjoyed to discover that the Fairmont Empress offered gluten free options! All the breads & pastries were made on site and delicious; I even had battenburg cake! My boyfriend is British and it was so lovely to share this experience with him. Thank you Fairmont!
