Accompanying my wife, Juanita, who is attending the International Women's Forum-2013, this stay was a sterling introduction to the beautiful city that is Vancouver. This property has a storied history, and as we travel the world and with our stays at the Fairmont properties, the Hotel Vancouver prompts the imagination for investigation of its place in Western Canadian history. Geographically positioned in the province of the elite in downtown Vancouver, my first witness to this city promises not to be my last.
