Excellent Helps from Fairmont Security Team !
Upon our arrival at Fairmont Singapore, my wife just realized that she left her backpack in the taxi that we were using from the airport. It contains all of her money along with her camera and her cell. You can imagine how confused we are at that time.
The worst part of it was: we don't remember the taxi name, we didn't take the taxi receipt and even we don't remember the colour of the taxi. In short, we have no idea how to track the Taxi.
After taking a long deep breath, I report the incident to the front desk, and I was introduced to Mr. Raja (I believe he is the Fairmont's security team leader, on duty, that day).
After hearing my story, Mr. Raja give us a very effective action plan, that he, with the assistance of his team (Mr. Panir and Mr. Hussein), is trying to find out what Taxi we were using, by screening to the CCTV, and then, after he had clue what kind of taxi, than he will track the drive by calling the Taxi Company.
After just around 1 hour or less, Mr. Raja give us a very good news, that he and his team has successfully track the taxi, and the taxi is on its way to the hotel.
Within 10 minutes or so, the Taxi had arrived at the hotel and my wife can get her backpack back.
It was really an impressive experience that I have during my first visit to Fairmont Singapore, and it gives me a valid reason to make Fairmont as my preferred hotel in Singapore for my future visit.
