"Enjoy The Ride"

While in Chicago this past summer, my and I husband had the pleasure of lodging at the Fairmont Chicago, Millenium Park.
From our more than adequate room on the 30th floor we had an amazing view of the cityscape and lakefront.

Chicago is undoubtly 'a walker's delight'.
We logged 55,000 footsteps in just under 4 days as recorded on his pedometer. Beat that.

Pictured is Chicago's Navy Pier, situated at the intersection of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River, where there's something to delight the young, and the young at heart.
It was a perfectly clear day to ride the ferris wheel allowing us to have a bird's view of the cityscape from a different perspective-a memorable blending of the old and the new.
