Enamoured

The lobby of the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto is absolutely gorgeous, worthy of a real life fairy tale. Mine.

I had to spend St Valentine's weekend 2010 in Toronto and decided to treat myself to the Fairmont Royal York.

I was in the lobby waiting for a tour bus to come when the man of my dreams came down the elevators to the right of this picture. I was siting in a sofa, right where this picture was taken. Something made me turn my head, as the sofa is facing the other way, when I saw him. He walked around that stairwell, towards the door and me.

In a sea of people, he saw me and stopped.
For a second, the world hold on for us, it stood still just for the two of us. I whispered something soft and short as I was stunned.... He looked me in the eyes and smiled. The entire lobby went silent in my head.

We had found each other for the very first time.
