My family arriving at Fairmont Chateau Whistler for Christmas holiday. We had just enjoyed a wonderful drive from Vancouver Airport and were thrilled beyond belief to have finally arrived. We found plenty of snow upon arrival, so we knew we were in for a wonderful holiday of skiing, dogsledding and other wintery activities.
On Christmas Eve, filled with the joys of Christmas, we took the luxury Snowcat up to Crystal Hut, which is perched atop Blackcomb Mountain, to a lovely fondue dinner. The ride up and back was filled with laughter and the singing of Christmas carols.
What a wonderful Christmas it was for us.
