Bermuda Dreaming

I've started a tradition of visiting Bermuda for some much-needed vacation time with "me, myself and I". Unlike other vacations involving other people and their itineraries, this one is just for me to relax, unwind and just be. During the past 2 years, I've visited Bermuda twice, staying at the Fairmont both times. Both Fairmonts on the island are so distinct, one from the other, that guests really experience two hotels - the resort-like Southampton and the business-friendly Hamilton Princess. This photo was taken at Whalen Bay, the private beach at the Southampton, and, to me, captures the essence of this trip - the stunning water, the soft pink sand and laying there without a care in the world.
