A July 4th to remember...

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the wonderful service and experience provided by the Fairmont Olympic on behalf of my partner (now fiance) and myself on our recent visit to Seattle over the 4th of July.

I'd called ahead and spoke with Reina from the front of the house and informed her in advance of my intent to 'pop' the question over the holiday. Upon checkin we were given an upgrade to a wonderful room and made to feel very special.

I've had occasion to stay at several Fairmont properties in North America and I wanted to point out that the pet policy is one the reasons we choose the Fairmont Olympic, quite frankly it's the best there is! Our Golden Retriever Jezabelle was made to feel every bit as welcome as we were by both staff and fellow hotel guests.

It's really quite something when the hotel property while in the heart of the city maintains a small patch of gress out front to allow pet guests a place to go when nature calls wether late at night or if there owner doesn't want to make the 2 block walk to the park.

Elizabeth and I look forward to celebrating many more July 4th's and the anniversary of our engagement in Seattle at the Fairmont Olympic.
