A delicious treat

While staying in Maui we stopped in to Nick's Fishmarket at the Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui. It was my mom's 60th and my 30th birthday so we thought we would treat ourselves to a delicious dinner. We started off in the bar and enjoyed the best Mai Tai's either of us had ever had (the secret was the coconut slush on top I think). We had some delicious appetizers and watched the lighting of the Tikki torches and listened to the blowing of the conch shell which they told us was to thank the gods for the day and welcome the next day. We then moved to the restaurant on the patio and enjoyed the view of the pool, cabanas and the sun set.

The service was great, the food was amazing and the ambiance was next to none. They even brought us a piece of cake with a candle for our birthdays. Definitely a great celebration of a combined 90 years of life!
