Recently, we were lucky enough to virtually meet one of our past guests, Dara, online via our hotel's Facebook page. She let us know that her family will be celebrating her parents 50th wedding anniversary next month in Bermuda. What's so neat about Dara's story is that the last time she travelled to Bermuda with her parents she was only 17 months old! We couldn't resist asking Dara to share her Fairmont memories with us, and this is what she had to say:
We recently came across these photos. I believe they are all from the Fairmont Hamilton Princess--please correct me if I'm wrong. My parents, grandparents, and I visited there from July 31st - August 5th, 1968. I was 17 months old. Believe it or not, I remember those windows in the dining area!
My parents and my husband and I have returned to Bermuda several times since then; most recently my husband and I stayed at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. At that time, the dining room at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess was closed for renovation. We're looking forward to seeing it again next month!You can clearly see the joy and love, for Bermuda, for the experience at the hotel, and for each other, on all of our faces!
