Last year my parents, thank G-d, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. 50 years and still best friends, still in love. That's quite a celebration! So luckily for the whole family, they took all of their children and grandchildren to celebrate where else other than the Fairmont Kea Lani on the gorgeous island of Maui. Having never been to Hawaii, i imagined it would be breathtakingly beautiful, although one could not imagine how so. Divine is the word that comes to mind. And having stayed at the Fairmont made our tremendous vacation all the more spectacular. For a family of discriminating travelers, that have traveled around the world (and back), we all agreed that the Fairmont was hands down our favourite resort. The grounds were beautiful, the service was impeccable. Even my dad, who is not so easily impressed, could not find a single fault with the staff at the resort. And my husband and I, who are strictly kosher, were beyond grateful for the way the chef and entire kitchen and event staff went out of their way to accommodate our special culinary needs. Relaxation, beauty, comfort...everything one might expect from a ***** resort can be found at the Fairmont, and then some! We are so grateful not only for my parents long lived happy and healthy marriage, but for the opportunity to celebrate it in style! However cliche, I chose this picture of the magnificent sunset to represent not only the outrageous beauty of the island of Maui, but the awe inspiring views from the hotel. No detail was forgotten when conceiving this resort. It could not be more photogenic, or picturesque. Truly magical.
