EARL GREY SHORTBREAD COOKIES

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pastry flour
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 bag earl grey tea

1. • Steep earl grey tea in a small amount of the melted butter. You will add this to the rest of butter.
   • Cream sugar, butter and salt together then add both flours.
   • Press this into a baking pan, refrigerate for 1 hour then cut pieces into desired rectangular size.
   • Bake at 360 F for approximately 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
