Dark Chocolate Shortbread Crust Christmas Cookies

• • 180 gr butter
  • 30 gr cacao powder
  • 90 gr sugar
  • 300 gr all-purpose flour
  • 75 ml eggs
  • 30 gr ground almonds
  • 6 gr baking soda
  • 1.2 gr salt
  • Pure vanilla extract

1. 1. In a bowl, sift together cacao powder, flour, sugar, ground almonds, baking soda and salt.
   2. Stir in butter and add the eggs.
   3. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-inch (5 mm) thickness.
   4. Using cookie cutter, cut out shapes, rerolling and cutting scraps.
   5. Place on parchment paper–lined rimless baking sheets.
   6. Bake at 350F for about 12 minutes
   7. Let cool for a few minutes
   8. Realize the decoration with colored royal icing
