beelove™ Honey & Vanilla Scone

Ingredients

Yield:

25 Scones

• • 10c All purpose flour
  • 6c Sugar
  • 7½t Baking powder
  • 2t Salt
  • 1 lb butter
  • 5 Eggs
  • 2½c Heavy cream
  • ½c beelove™ Honey
  • Seeds from 1 Vanilla pod, fresh, plump, soft - may

1. 1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl and set aside. In another medium mixing bowl, add all the wet ingredients including honey and mix well. To remove the seeds from the vanilla pod, slice the pod down the middle lengthwise (you may need to repeat). Use the back of the knife blade to scoop the beans out. Blend with the wet ingredients.
   2. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Stir until a lumpy paste forms. On a greased sheet pan, place 2oz scoops of dough 2” apart and bake at 320 degrees in a convection oven (or 375 degrees in convention oven) for approximately 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and baked through.
