The Newport, a Gastropub's Candy Cane Martini

Ingredients

• • 1 candy cane, crushed
  • 1 oz strawberry vodka
  • 4 dashes white creme de menthe
  • 2.5 oz cranberry juice

1. 1. Fill a shallow dish with water. Dip martini glass rim in water.
   2. Fill second shallow dish with crushed candy cane. Dip martini glass rim in candy cane mixture.
   3. In a cocktail shaker full of ice, add all liquid ingredients.
   4. Strain the liquid into the martini glass. Serve immediately.
