We’ve all seen the trends of balsamic, wasabi and other savory ingredients, we aren’t sure if mustard is the next IT thing, or just fun to experiment with! We grow mustard seeds on our rooftop and wanted to find a way to incorporate in an unexpected way. Mustard has a spicy, acidic, vinegar quality that shares so much with more common cocktail ingredients such as citrus, herbs or bitters. It complements the oak in the chardonnay, the unique flavors of the lillet, and is perfectly balanced with the honey syrup.
