Five Ingredient Holiday Punch

1 punch bowl, approx 20 small sized servings

• Punch Ingredients

  • 17 oz Cognac
  • 12 ¾ oz Oloroso Sherry
  • 8 ½ oz Filtered Water
  • 8 ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 8 ½ oz Spiced Orange Syrup*

• Spiced Orange Syrup Ingredients

  • 8 ½ oz Fresh Orange Juice
  • 1 ¼ cup Superfine White Sugar
  • Peels of 6 oranges
  • 2 Vanilla Beans
  • 4 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 8 Star Anise Pods
  • 10 Cloves

1. Punch Preparation

   1. Combine ingredients in a punch bowl with large ice cubes.
   2. Top with orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise pods.
   3. Serve in small punch glasses.

2. Spiced Orange Syrup Preparation

   1. Combine ingredients and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
   2. Strain and chill.
