Ingredients

- 2 oz. Mitchners Bourbon
- 1 oz. Fig Syrup (see recipe)
- 2 dashes Fee Brothers Old Fasion Bitters
- 2 dashes Peychauds Bitters
- 1 Pomegranate Marinated Fig (see recipe)

Fig Syrup
- 1 jar Fig Jam
- water

Pomegranate Marinated Figs
- 30 Dried Figs
- 4 oz. Pomegranate Juice
- 3 oz. Simple Syrup
- 6 dashes Angostura Bitters
Preparation

Fig Syrup Recipe
- Remove the lid from one jar of fig jam. Microwave for 30 seconds.
- Scoop contents into a pitcher.
- Boil water in a tea kettle.
- Fill glass jar to the top with hot water from the tea spout. Stir until dissolved.
- Chill and put into squeeze bottle.

Pomegranate Marinated Fig
- Cut dried figs in half and put into storage container.
- Combine pomegranate juice, syrup, and bitters.
- Pour pomegranate marinade over figs. (This marinade can be used several times.)

Cocktail
- Combine bourbon, fig syrup, and bitters into mixing glass.
- Add ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain over fresh ice.
- Garnish with marinated fig on a pick and orange twist.
