Ardbeg Sazerac

Ingredients

Yield:

• • 1/4 oz (7.5 ml) Absinthe
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) Ardbeg Sinle Malt Scotch whisky
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Remy Martin VS Cognac
  • 1/4 oz (7.5 ml) Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

1. 1. Rinse a chilled Old Fashioned glass with absinthe; set aside
   2. In a pint mixing glass, measure in spirits, syrup and both bitters
   3. Fill 3/4 full with ice and stir swiftly for 20 seconds
   4. Strain into absinthe-rinsed glass without ice
   5. Zest lemon over drink and drop in
