Éric Beaupré joined the culinary team at the Fairmont Tremblant in August 2013 as Executive Sous-Chef. In July 2014, he was appointed Executive Chef of the magnificent resort located at the foot of Mont Tremblant.

Originally from the province of Québec, Eric is a passionate chef as well as a true outdoor sports enthusiast. His fast growing culinary career, combined with his love for nature, has led Eric to the Canadian Rockies and in the Prairies where he worked in several Fairmont properties. Back in Québec with his family, he was delighted to settle in the picturesque Laurentian region where he can promote the beautiful local products.

At home, Eric tends his own garden with care and is inspired by the freshest seasonal vegetables. As the new head chef of Fairmont Tremblant’s kitchen brigade, he creates his dishes with flavorful, colorful ingredients that he ideally likes to choose himself, during his visits to his favorite farms.

With a judicious approach to nutrition, Eric gets stimulated by staying connected with inspiring industry colleagues as well as fabulous producers. With his varied experience and a keen eye for quality, he takes great pride in fostering a working atmosphere that allows for growth, development and creativity.

In his spare time, Eric can be found mountain biking in the region’s trails or hiking with his wife and children. When asked about his life philosophy he mentions: “I believe whole-heartedly in staying active, continuing to learn and always having fun”. Whether he’s preparing a meal for his guests or his children, he’s committed to create beautifully presented dishes to stimulate the senses so that dining is both an experience that is memorable and inspires a feeling of community and sharing.
