Cardinal's Punch

Ingredients

Yield:

1 cocktail

• • 1 ½ oz Canadien whiskey Pike Creek 10 years
  • ½ oz St-Germain, Elderflower liquor
  • 3 oz cranberry juice
  • ½ oz balsamic and basil syrup
  • 1 oz sparkling wine

• Balsamic and basil syrup

  • 250 ml of water
  • 1 ½ cup of sugar
  • 50 ml of balsamic vinegar reduction
  • 10 fresh basil leaves

1. For the syrup

   1. Boil water and sugar for 5 minutes and let cool down
   2. Add the balsamic vinegar reduction and the basil leaves

2. For the cocktail

   1. Add all ingredients in a shaker, except the sparkling wine, and shake
   2. Pour the mix in a martini glass
   3. For a crowd, add all ingredients in the punch bowl and mix (see picture)
