BUZZWORTHY NEW GUESTS

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is buzzing with excitement over our new guests. As of this summer, our rooftop is now home to four beehives and over 240,000 bees.

This “sweet” new initiative is part of the Fairmont’s Green Partnership program, helping the local environment by providing bees to pollinate area gardens and parks. These particular bees will produce a clear, delicate wildflower honey that will be harvested by our Chefs for use in culinary and cocktail creations and will be sold in the Portobello Market and Fresh Bakery.
