Fairmont Royal York's Rest Safe Program
With Fairmont Royal York's Rest Safe program, the hotel is opening their doors to welcome frontline hospital workers as their guests. The hotel owners at KingSett capital have partnered with three of the largest healthcare networks in Toronto, St. Michael’s, Mount Sinai and University Health Network, to provide a safe home away from home to those who are working tirelessly to keep us safe. With the generous support of various partners, the hotel is pleased to make 500 rooms available each night for these individuals.
In addition to providing accommodation, complimentary parking is also available as part of the Rest Safe Program through Cadillac Fairview and Toronto-Dominion Centre. St. Michael’s Hospital has also enlisted Uber Eats and Roots Canada as partners for this program, with each healthcare worker receiving an Uber Eats giftcard and Roots care package during their stay on property. All of these efforts are designed to guarantee our most important guests rest safe!
To ensure the health and safety of all guests and colleagues, the hotel has implemented enhanced sanitization and cleaning protocols throughout the accommodation process. Additionally, all Fairmont colleagues are utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment and maintaining recommended social distancing protocols. All of these efforts are undertaken to ensure that Fairmont Royal York remains, as they have for over 90 years, at the “heart” of their community.
