When The Savoy, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, opened its doors on October 10 after an almost three-year renovation, British actor, writer, comedian and well-known Twitter user Stephen Fry was first to sign the guest book. Fry attended the opening in his role as The Savoy’s blogger-in-residence. Twittering to his nearly two million followers on October 11, Fry, who lived at The Savoy for six months in the 1980s, had this to say:

“What with the absurd comfort of The Savoy bed and the absurd discomfort of The Savoy hangover I am somewhat behindhand with the day.”

Funny how much you can say in just 132 characters.
