Our Honeymoon night, 1972

On March 5th 1972, the day of our marriage, my new husband brought me to the Fairmont to spend the first night of our honeymoon.
I was thrilled to say the least, not only staying at the Fairmont, but that my new husband wanted to begin our marriage with something special.
Although, given our budget then, I could not order "room service" at the hotel or dine in the restaurants.
The Fairmont asked us to join the "Presidents Club" which we proudly did and so have enjoyed many special occasions at the hotel. In addition, providing our children the same experience on their wedding nights.
It has been many years since that first night and we still remember our room, luxurious bathroom, and the wonderful staff.
