Celebrate Festive Holiday Traditions with Fairmont

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts offer guests a flurry of fabulous ways to celebrate the holidays starting with their annual Trees of Hope program which provides guests the opportunity to give back to local communities by booking a Fairmont getaway this holiday season.

Creativity reigns supreme with these indulgent winter experiences that spark warm feelings and wonder. From gourmet dining in outdoor snow globes, cool cocktail kits and Holiday Afternoon Tea to-Go to family bonfires and Candyland photo ops, Fairmont creates tantalizing holiday cheer, feasts and giving.

Fairmont Hotels and Resorts: Trees of Hope  
Fairmont’s annual Trees of Hope program provides guests the opportunity to give back to local communities by booking a Fairmont getaway this holiday season. Between now and January 11, 2021, reserve a stay at a participating Fairmont hotel in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Barbados or Bermuda and receive up to 25 percent off the daily rate, plus a $25 hotel credit per stay. To sweeten the deal, for each night of the stay, Fairmont donates $10 to a local community charity.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler: New Year’s Eve Dining Domes  
This winter, guests can enjoy a gourmet, family-style, British Columbia-focused menu while cozily ensconced in Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s New Year’s Eve Snow Globe Dining Domes. Perched on the hotel’s Wildflower patio near the base of Blackcomb Mountain, the private outdoor dining Snow Globes are decked out with fur throws, cushions, blankets and fairy lights.

The five-course gourmet menu is prepared by Derek Bendig, Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s executive sous chef, and includes beverages from Stella Artois, Fever Tree, Roche Winery & Vineyards and Blasted Church. The Snow Globes are available for groups of up to six people from December 18, 2020 to April 18, 2021.

Fairmont Tremblant: Family Bonfire & Igloo Experience  
Fairmont Tremblant, at the foot of Quebec’s Mont Tremblant, offers joyful holiday experiences and festive spaces for families in different areas around the resort’s terrace. Families can settle back in Adirondack chairs around outdoor fireplaces while the little ones explore small igloos. Topping off the fun, graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate are on hand so you can make s’mores around the fire-pit. 

Fairmont Royal York Toronto: Festive To-Go
Missing a friendly elf mixologist at home to whip up specialty cocktails from scratch? No worries! Fairmont Royal York Toronto has concocted Thirsty Elf cocktail kits so revelers can conjure Fairmont-quality holiday cheer anywhere. Ingredients for GIN-gle All the Way and Polar Punch cocktails, are included with enough for approximately 8 drinks per kit. The Thirsty Elf cocktail kit is $89, or $139 CAD with holiday cocktail glasses. All prices exclude tax.

Fairmont Royal York Toronto’s Holiday Afternoon Tea To-Go, December 19 and 20, serves a delightful selection of scones, pastries, sandwiches and teas. Tea To-Go is $96 CAD and serves two. The hotel also offers Festive Meals To-Go, available on December 24 and 25, including a large turkey or ham with sides and dessert for 4-8 people. Meals range from $250 to $380 CAD. For each order of afternoon tea and festive meals, the hotel will make a donation to Make-a-Wish Canada. 

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver: Hashtag Holidays Photo Installation Experience
Are you ready to get creative with your traditional seasonal snapshots? Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is offering a holiday experience for guests to capture merry moments in 10 festive themed installations, including the Gift-wrapped Room and Candy Cane Lane.

The Hashtag Holidays photo installation experience is $39 CAD per adult and $25 CAD per child; a Family Package, for two adults and two children, is $100 CAD. All prices exclude tax. The hotel will donate a portion of each sale to BC Children's Hospital Foundation. On Tuesdays, adult tickets for tourism-industry and frontline workers are $25 CAD. 

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess: Christmas at the Princess 2020
Warm up in luxury in a cozy igloo and heated patio with Christmas at the Princess 2020 at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess’s Winterland. The igloo is furnished with plush décor and surrounded by thousands of twinkling lights for an experience that’s especially Instagrammable! Guests can snuggle up with warm winter cocktails and toast the season. Twinkle Town is home to festive lights and Santa’s brightest light, Twinkle. You won’t want to miss noshing on delicious bites and savoring holiday beverages as you enjoy the panoramic views of the resort.

Fairmont Copley Plaza: Kiss 2020 Goodbye New Year’s Eve Wedding Package  
Fairmont Copley Plaza welcomes couples for holiday wedding celebrations that ring in the New Year in regal style. The Kiss 2020 Goodbye New Year’s Eve Wedding Package gives you a choice of the hotel’s most popular ballrooms for their joyous event.

The Kiss 2020 Goodbye package includes a romantic backdrop for your nuptials, ceremony chairs, access to prime photo locations such as the Presidential Suite. The food and beverage service options include a four-course late-night dinner with top-shelf Champagne. The package also includes flowers, New Year’s Eve party props, festive décor, a photo booth, a midnight Champagne toast and posh accommodations.

Claremont Club and Spa: Holiday in the Hills   
Bay Area jingle bells will be ringing at Claremont Club & Spa, a Fairmont Hotel, when you choose Holidays in the Hills activities throughout December. Guests can indulge in holiday fun with live music, gingerbread-house decorating classes, cocktail-tasting events and Claremont’s version of Candyland. 

Indulge your inner child with an afternoon stroll along the hotel’s Candyland Trail to Lollipop Woods. Stop by Cupcakes Commons and the gingerbread replica of the Claremont Tower to snap photos. Claremont’s Sweet Adventures offers homemade hot chocolate or apple cider and sweet holiday treats. 

With its King or Queen of the Castle offer, Claremont invites guests to initiate new family Christmas traditions by reserving an entire floor or wing of the Claremont Castle December 24 through December 26. The experience includes rooms or suites on the same floor or wing, custom holiday décor and a private themed outdoor dining experience. You can book The Claremont Tower Suite and five adjacent guest rooms (for 12 guests) or seven eighth-floor guest rooms (16 guests) including two junior suites. Larger families can choose nine adjacent guest rooms (24 guests).
