One enchanted evening...

We were greeted outside the lobby of the Fairmont Southampton Princess by a horse-drawn carriage and a bottle of champagne.  As we soaked in the enchanting beauty of Bermuda our guide led us down to the warm pink sands of the beach where we were met by the hotel concierge.  He escorted us to a private table for two outlined in the sand with lights in the shape of a heart.  As the saxophone player bellowed melodies from Sinatra we walked the beach hand-in-hand in the sunset.  After an unbelievable table-side five course dinner the night was topped-off when the waiter presented her with a hand crafted chocolate jewelry box made personally by the chef that day.  Inside she found the ring and with my knee shaking slightly in the sand I asked her if she’d spend the rest of her life with me.  I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect engagement and Fairmont hotels have held a warm place in our hearts ever since.
