Anniversary in Heaven - Fairmont Monte Carlo
We celebrated our 24th Wedding anniversary in Elegant style. We wanted to have a wonderful memory for our anniversary, and decided to plan a European Trip.
We booked a two night stay at the Fairmont Monte Carlo...it was spectacular! We were so impressed with our room, as soon as the door opened and we gazed into the most beautiful suite. The room was magical and special.
Surprise, On the dresser sat a chilling bottle of champagne and chocolates. Wow! They knew it was our anniversary, and they made it even more special with this generous surprise. We were very grateful. Months before we had made reservations for dinner at the Terrace Restaurant, and were seated in what I think was the best table in the house.
We had a delightful meal, topped off with a decadent dessert which they adorned with fire for our special celebration. We had a beautiful view of the sea as the sun set on our anniversary night.
The next day we decided to dedicate completely to the pool. The loungers were so comfortable, and you had an endless supply of soft lovely towels. In typical Fairmont style, the staff go above and beyond, so attentive. We sipped rose on our loungers as we enjoyed the beautiful city View of Monte Carlo. We cannot thank the Fairmont Monte Carlo enough for making our anniversary so memorable and special. We were treated like royalty, and plan to return as soon as possible.
