Cadbury Creme Egg Cronut

• • 1 tin Pillsbury Original Crescents dough
  • 1 package of mini Cadbury Creme Eggs
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying
  • Sugar for sprinkling

1. 1. Roll out the pastry from the tin onto a lightly floured surface and brush a section with the egg mixture
   2. Use a cookie cutter to cut small discs of dough
   3. Place a mini Creme Egg in the centre of one disc. Cover the egg with a second disc and then squeeze the edges of the discs firmly together. It’s important there are no gaps at all otherwise the chocolate will escape
   4. Heat the oil to 340F and carefully put the dough covered eggs into the oil
   5. Cook in batches of 2-3 depending on the size of your pan or fryer but do not overcrowd it
   6. Cook for 90 seconds then turn them over and cook for another 90 seconds before removing and putting onto kitchen towel to drain any excess oil
   7. While the dough is still still hot sprinkle all over with sugar and eat immediately while the dough is warm for a soft and melty center
