Remembering to Celebrate

We were married on November 11, 2011 in Victoria. 53 years earlier my Mother and Father spent a day of their honeymoon at the Fairmont Empress. November 11, 2011 was also my Father's 90th birthday. Both our fathers served in and lived through the Second World War, so Remembrance Day has always been a powerful day for both our families. This year, this day was also full of great love and celebration...a 90th birthday, a honeymoon half a century ago, and our incredible marriage. To finally find ones life partner is the rarest of gifts. This, we will never forget.
